Pinterest is extracting with “Autocolli”, an artificial intelligence function that allows advertisers to quickly transform their catalogs of products into purchasable collages, the company Announced This week.
The new functionality is designed to make it easier for advertisers to reach customers by saving time and creative resources, says Pinterest.
The company observes that collages are one of the most popular and engaging types of content among Gen Z users, with over tens of millions of collages created on the platform. In the first tests, Pinterest discovered that users saved the automatic harvests at double the standard product PIN rate.
Automatic collars work by grouping the images of products in visual content that can be purchased based on things such as outfit ideas, user commitment, similar products and users’ savings. For example, the function can group clothing that constitutes an elegant dress based on the existing look. However, it can create a new collage similar to existing collages that has been a strong users’ involvement.

In addition, the function can select a similar product and group them in a collage. In another case, self-glidage can generate a collage that included a product similar to what users saved on their cards.

Pinterest also that he is updating his “tendencies” tool to help advertisers better understand and predict what users are planning to do the Porcase. The updated tool will take advantage of the insights on what users save, cure and buy.
