CHICAGO (WGN) – Two United Airlines passenger planes collided on the tarmac at Chicago O’Hare International Airport on Friday afternoon.

According to United Airlines, UA2652 was taxiing to its arrival gate when it came into contact with the tailplane of another United Airlines jet. The other jet was stationary and there were no passengers on board.

UA2652 was carrying 113 passengers and five crew members at the time of the incident.

A passenger told Nexstar’s WGN that he was told he had to leave the plane so it could be inspected. The airline said all passengers exited the plane safely and with no reported injuries.

UA2652 is a Boeing 737; the other aircraft involved was a Boeing 767, according to the airline.
