The number of adults in the United States, which are aware of the GLP 1 medication used for weight loss such as Ozampic and Wegovy, has increased significantly in recent years, a new suroy shows.
The YouGov survey, Frieday publishedshows that at least 80 percent of the respondents with Semaglutide “have a Bittle -Bit” feed, have a medication for the treatment of type -2 diabetes that also helps a user to delete weight.
In March 2023, only 60 percent of the Americans were aware of the burden. A year later, in March 2024, this number rose to 70 percent, the student noticed. The latest survey also shows that the proportion of those who have heard “a lot” from the medication gave little serious in 2023 and increased from 23 percent to 41 percent.
Only 36 percent of the respondents say that they know who took Semaglutid. Around 14 percent lists a famous member of the medication, 16 percent named a friend, 11 percent identified an acquisition and 7 percent said they had taken Themeselves according to the survey. Some you also know no user in more than one category.
Women are more men, 43 percent to 29 percent to know someone who has taken on an GLP 1 agonist medication in the survey.
The medication for weight reduction – including Wegven, Ozampic, Zepbound and others – were available in 2005, but only have before the mission in recent years. The most recent survey showed that about a quarter of the respondents indicate that they would be “very” or “something” for the medication as weight loss treatment.
Via ARD of the Americans, ether took the drug or said that they would be interested in trying. On the other hand, about 17 percent stated that they were “not very interested” in the medication, and 45 percent signaled that they were not at all.
A separate survey from last September showed that about a quarter of adults in the weights of weight losses with meditation without their doctor.
